A bell rang from near by causing you and Uryu to pull apart from your embrace. Lunch was over and you two had to get back to class.
“We, um, better get back to class.” Uryu said pushing his glasses up his nose. His cheeks were dusted pink.
“I guess you're right, but do you want to hang out after school today?” You looked up at him with large pleading eyes.
Uryu smiled. “I’d like that.”
“Yay!” You grinned, taking his hand. You interlaced your fingers with him and left the roof with Uryu by your side. “Ichigo’s going to tease us you know.”
Uryu sighed. “Stupid Kurosaki.”
You squeezed his hand. “Don’t let him get to you though Uryu. He’s just jealous that he doesn’t have a girlfriend.”
Uryu pulled you closer to his side. “You're right (Name).” He kissed y

The bell rang from overhead and the sound of chairs being pushed back from their desks. The door to the room was slid open and the room was evacuated one by one. You pulled your lunch out of your bag and stood up from your seat.
“Hey (Name)!” Ichigo called to you. “We’re eating out in the garden today.”
You nodded. “Okay, I’ll be out there in a minute.” Ichigo and the gang walked out of the classroom. You turned and looked at Uryu, who had just got up from his seat. “Uryu?”
Uryu looked up at you. “Yes (Name)?”
You swallowed. “Um, could you come up to the roof with me? I want to talk to you for a moment.”
Uryu nodded. “Alright. Let’s go.” You and Uryu walked out of the classroom and to the stairs up to the roof. You bit your lip as you started to climb up them. Every fiber of your being was screaming to turn around r

It was tearful goodbye, but it was the way things had to be.
“(Name)! Your friend is here!” Your mom yelled from the bottom of the stairs. You ran down the stairs dressed in a pair of black pants and a red shirt, which had a white cross on the corner. The cross had been put there by Uryu during your stay at the Soul Society; it looked just like the charm that hung from Uryu’s wrist.
“Thanks mom.” You kissed her on the cheek.
“He’s waiting in the living room.” Your mom smiled. “He’s a cutie (Name), a perfect boyfriend.”
You blushed. “Mom!”
Your mom ignored yo

suspended in the shadow of my last thought,
upon the stem of the most distant flower
that perpetually comes back
in the pale night,
even though I lean forward
like a veil
ascended to the stars
of which dream
shall I wake up from my talents
to confuse the light that uncovers me
against my will?
In the night black
I would not be anymore forbidden
to hide upon myself,
like a grain in a corner
ice in the center of silence
